This is a vintage kerosene Aladdin lamp that has the Lox-on chimney. It has the clear glass fuel bowl on the bottom, the brass burner and the brass gallery at the top, both the brass pieces are marked Aladdin but there is no mark on the fuel bowl. The gallery is the type that accepts the "Lox-On" chimney and it has the flame spreader and the wire mantle support (sorry the mantle you see on it is basically silk dust and will decompose when packed for shipping). These Aladdin lamps, with the mantle will make the brightest light of any kerosene lamp. The condition of the lamp is very good but it is hard to make the wick move. I can only get it to move about a quarter of an inch or so, up and down. All the parts seem to be there. I think it needs a good cleaning and maybe a new wick. The lamp without the chimney is about 11" tall and the it measures about 5 1/2" across the widest part of the tank. The base it actually sits on, is about 3 3/4" across. The chimney is 12 1/2" high and has the Aladdin name close to the top, it is the older logo.
